Anchorage Yacht Basin’s DIY Boat Yard

We’re here to assist you with the boat service tasks you need completed so that your boat always operates smoothly.
Standard Rates
Our costs are meant to be competitive and fair. Here’s what we charge for the following services:
• Barnacle Scraping: $75 per hour; 30 minutes minimum required
• Haul, Block & Launch: $12 per foot, including all overhanging portions
• Pressure-Washing: $4 per foot; required if there is growth on the hull
• Storage: $30 per calendar day (if your boat arrives on Tuesday and departs on Wednesday, then two days will be charged)

Our Requirements
In order for us to work on your boat, we have a few stipulations designed to keep both you and our team safe. Be aware that:
• You must provide proof of ownership and liability insurance for your boat.
• Your boat’s quality must be approved by Anchorage Yacht Basin, Inc.
• Your boat must be made from fiberglass.
• You may not live aboard the boat.
• You cannot use outside services for sand-blasting, acid-washing, spray-painting, or pressure-washing.
• You must use bottom paints, primers, and zincs purchased at the Anchorage Yacht Basin Ship Store.
• Contractors must be licensed, insured, and registered with the Ship Store
